The Golden Birthday

I am told that when your age is the same number as the day you were born it is your golden birthday. I was born on the 5th of June and I turned 5 this year. It is my golden birthday. Mom and dad did not hold back in making this birthday special for me. Take a look.

Yeah Dogs

I went to Woodfield the other day with dad to meet Aunt Colleen and her mother-in-law. We went to pick up the dogs and baby-sit them over Thanksgiving.

I was very tired when we got there and I didn't want to wake up, but boy when I saw those dogs I woke up. On the way home I said, "Yeah we got two more dogs."

I like Josie, she is small enough to pick up and carry around. Jade is nice too, but I like Josie the best.

These are perfect dogs for me and Ian. They like to be walked on the leash and they don't try to run away.

I think after Thanksgiving we will return Daisy and Howie to Aunt Colleen and Gramma Lucy.

It has been a busy weekend, well more than a weekend. On Thursday we went to the McHenry County Fair. Ian and I spent most of the day together, but near the end we kind of split up so he could ride the dragon roller coaster and I took on the tea cups.

On Sunday Grampa Bimps invited us to the Local 150 annual picnic. The Local 150 training facility is in Wilmington, IL. It was a totally cool day with music, hot dogs, pop, blow up water slides, all the big earth moving equipment you could want to play and climb on, and even a Snort.

Of course the best part was ...

Bad parenting skills on display

Don't worry dad I don't think I'll be scarred forever.

It's tough being the little brother from Brendan Murphy on Vimeo.

I wonder why I can't help laughing every time I hear my brother scream?

First I created some art with my brother.
This is a picture of my mom.
Later I read a book.

Then I fell asleep on the dog.

Trip to Adler Plaetarium

The train ride was cool, I spent the entire time staring out the window (there and back), but the planetarium didn't have any trains. Next time we have to go to the Museum of Science and Industry, I understand they have a huge train set there.
